2019 Reads amy sandas can't wait to get her hands on

So far, 2019 is shaping up to be a great year for new Romance titles. One of my resolutions for the year is to make more time for reading. A good thing since there are so many books coming out that I’m just dying to get my hands on.

Here is a list of ten books (plus a bonus novella) that are destined for my reading stack.
Picture
Devil’s Daughter (The Ravenels #5) by Lisa Kleypas – Many readers have been anxiously awaiting West Ravenel’s story since he was introduced in the first book of the Ravenels series. In Devil’s Daughter, the charming rogue with a past meets Lady Clare, the daughter of Evie and Sabastian St. Vincent from Kleypas’s Wallflower series. Sparks will be flying in this one!

Nightchaser by Amanda Bouchet – This futuristic space romance just released January 1st. I loved Bouchet’s The Kingmaker Chronicles and though this new release has a very different setting, I’m expecting all the intensity and conflict that thrilled me in her debut series.

A Prince on Paper (Reluctant Royals #3) by Alyssa Cole – I totally devoured the first two books in this series and I’ve had a little thing for Johan since A Princess in Theory. There’s just something about an irreverent bad boy with a secret motivation for his wild behavior. I’m not sure how I’m going to be able to wait until April for this one which finally gives us Nya and Johan’s story. At least Once Ghosted, Twice Shy (Reluctant Royals #2.5) a novella, has already released so we can enjoy Likotsi’s story now!

Brazen and the Beast (The Bareknuckle Bastards #2) by Sarah MacLean – MacLean has a way with dark and tortured heroes (my favorite kind). This second book brings Beast into unexpected contact with Lady Henrietta Sedley, a woman with ambitious plans for her future. Will they be rivals or lovers or both? Of course, we can guess the answer to that, but I can’t wait to see how it all happens.

The Right Swipe (Modern Love #1) by Alisha Rai – Another series I ate up last year was Rai’s Forbidden Hearts. It was full of angst and sexiness and drama. The Right Swipe kicks off a new contemporary series with some familiar characters. I have no doubt the new series will be just as heart-achingly wonderful as the last.

Lady Notorious (Royal Rewards #4) by Theresa Romain – This one has a female Bow Street investigator, a handsome lord in distress, and a murder plot that has been decades in the making. I love Romain’s style and can’t wait to read this latest offering coming in February.

The Rogue of Fifth Avenue (Uptown Girls #1) by Johanna Shupe – I’ve fallen in love with Shupe’s Gilded Age romances and I am particularly looking forward to this one about the keeper of secrets, high-society lawyer Frank Tripp, and the untamable Mamie Greene. This is sure to be a fun ride.

Texas Legacy (Texas Trilogy) by Lorraine Heath – This third book in the trilogy that started years ago with Texas Destiny is available now. In this novella, we finally have Rawley Cooper’s story in a second chance romance.

The Wallflower Wager (Girl Meets Duke #3) by Tessa Dare – This one isn’t planned for release until August, so I will be anxiously counting the days until then. The Girl Meets Duke series is full of steamy romance and Dare’s trademark humor. In this one, we find Lady Penelope, a compassionate animal-lover, in conflict with her cold-hearted neighbor known as the Duke of Ruin.

The Outlaw’s Mail Order Bride by Linda Broday – First of all, I’ve just got to say that the cover for this book (available now) is stunning. The background, the dancing couple, the light and dark loveliness…I love it! Also, when it comes to Western Historical Romance, you just can’t go wrong with Broday.

This is just a sample of what I’m looking forward to in romance for 2019. I’m sure I will be adding many more books to this list as the year goes on and I impatiently wait for those later release dates to roll around. Luckily, there are plenty of great 2019 reads already available. Time to get reading!

Amy Sandas writes historical romance about dashing and sometimes dangerous men and women who are often reckless, bold, and unconventional. Her latest novel, The Cowboy's Honor, is out now. Visit her at www.amysandas.com.
